The only people who'd have access to that is, well, Rangers. The benefits of being corporate backed cowboys.
The six of you make their way over to the table with Clover taking the lead. One of the Rangers rises up from his chair before you're even within 25 feet of the table.
"Uh nuh. We're on our break. I know your types." His low, gravely voice immediately stops your group in their tracks. "No questions. No missions. No nothing. We're DONE for the next five days. Get. Out."
The tables around you go quiet and, as if on cue, the piano music that's been playing in the background abruptly stops. The atmosphere of the saloon is colder than the deepest parts of I-Corp now. You can feel everyone in the saloon staring down at your group.
Casey's the first to break the silence. "my beloved customer you don't understand we're here to help YOU." She clasps her hands together. "see we have a ranger or ranger-adjacent man who's a very hard worker :D trust us :D"
The lead Ranger snaps his gaze over to Clover. He squints his eyes at him. Clover returns the favor. "Five seconds."
"We're here to ask about AA Foxtrot. I imagine you know who that is."
"Aw jeez, you guys want to find the Ogre? Go ahead, it's your funeral. Hah!" The youngest of the three Rangers snorts like a damn pig. "Yeah, we know."
"What's it to you?" The Lead Ranger is trying his best to stare a hole right through Clover. "Bet you're some outlaws tryin' to hunt her down. Bet you stole that outfit from an actual Ranger, you damn phony. Rest of yer lackeys are clearly not from here."
"Lackey?" You cock your eyebrow at them but Clover shushes you. You hope he can win them over.
"I ain't fake. May not be official but I'm as good as the rest of y'all. Want me to prove it?"
"Sure. Don't feel like damagin' my gun for this." The Lead Ranger digs out a revolver round and places it in between his fingers. "Got some augments from up in the City. This should be good enough."
He flicks the bullet at Clover and, while it obviously didn't go off, the force his augmented fingers put behind it sends it flying almost half as fast as it would be if actually fired. For any normal person, catching it would probably be impossible. You're not sure you could do it without some anomalous trickery.
Clover is not a normal person.
His hand instinctually moves before clenching down HARD. A sharp hiss of pain escapes through his clenched teeth as the bullet slams into his palm. He holds his hand out to the Ranger before opening it.
In his now bruised palm is the bullet. Undamaged. He silently pockets it for later.
>+1 REVOLVER BULLET to CLOVER! He now has 5!
The Lead Ranger gestures at his two lackeys to get up. "We'll make this quick. C'mon."
Your two groups are now outside of the SALOON. Time to get some actual information about AA from them.
"we are trying to track her down since her family is oh so worried and of course a family should be worried about their sisters are you aware where she is :?"
