>”Hey, hey Yan wake up… Idiot, wake up!”
Shook awake, you turn to see the source of the voice. Surprise surprise, instead of being at home in bed, you’re here, bound by the wrist to your class president of all people, Naomi. The cuffs that bind the two of you together run between a decorative railing, restricting the two of you in its immediate vicinity.
“Wha-? Now what did you get me into?”
>”Don’t give me any of that attitude, not this time.”
“Well why not? You cuffed me to my own desk not that long ago.” Catching yourself saying this, you legitimately had no idea what you were talking about, and yet it doesn’t feel like you just made it up.
>”Maybe if you attended classes like everyone else none of that would be necessary. But really? I do it once and now it’s my thing?”
“Only once? You sure about that? Slapped them on as easily as you do to defame me. Is this how you make friends?”
>”Please, you defame yourself as is. So, I’m guessing you’re just as helpless as I am here, huh?”
“I just woke up. How about you let me think first and I’ll get back to you on that.” A light smirk silently comes across your face. She didn’t deny those claims.
A disgruntled sigh was Naomi’s last word in the matter, allowing you to recollect the past to the best of your ability. Did what you said earlier really happen? Sure felt like it was true, but you couldn’t remember it at all. What was certain was that you returned home, installed extra locks on the door for security, and later went to bed. Great, nothing to work with. You can’t even be sure if it's the morning after or any number of days since then. At least you’re still you.
You look around, confirming the surroundings were devoid of people. Figures. She would’ve gotten someone else to help if able. The giant Ferris Wheel in the distance told you this was the Sunset Drive Amusement Park, but the section you were in wasn’t familiar. The buildings were styled like an old western, with the commodities of modern construction and materials. Everything here was either unfinished or just built for show, with interiors being utterly empty. Your best guess to this was it being an expansion still under construction.
