Blood coming from his chest Lucian did not fall. He instead looked up into the face of the Knight who had tried to steal the kill from him. Already Lucian could tell that the Knight would claim that it was he who killed the Warboss for he had indeed committed a killing blow that would have fallen the beast.
The armor was colored with blue and gold heraldry. The banner sitting on the rear of the horse displaying not just the same colored heraldry, but the Trident of Mann upon it. Even within Bordeleaux few were willing to place the trident of a god who was not the lady herself or symbolize something closer to chivalry.
Only the royal family of Bordeleaux would commit such a heresy and not be admonished for such transgression. As the Heraldry was not that of a Knight of the Realm but that of an Errant Lucian did not need to be told who was the one who slayed the beast.
Gillot, Ducal Prince of Bordeleaux.
The Knight, not caring for Lucian, raised his broken spear in the air and roared at the top of his lungs, “The Warlord is dead! We have Victory!”
As he declared it the Orcs were routed in an instant. At one side they were being matched one to two by the Peasant mob and on the other end were being cut down by the Knights Lance. By the actions and the terror that Lucian had brought upon the field today it had come to a total slaughter of all the orcs present.
No second wave or becoming would happen. There would be no retreat. All of the Orcs had been killed by the valiant spears of the Knights and their underlings. The War against the Waaagh of the Black Orc had come to an end in the Battle of Morr’s Passing. Such would be the name given by the Peasants, for none could deny that Morr had taken the mobs of Peasants under his wing this day.
Yet now the dispute came, who shall the killing of the Warboss be given to? For such a mighty deed one can become a Knight of the Realm.
