“NO!” You shout. That came from too deep within your soul. “We’re good! We’ll look into the PC, thank you Lise! You were a great help!”
“You don’t have to yell, I hate my mother too, but chill.” Lise doesn’t blame you for your bad reaction. To say she hates her is an understatement. “Hey, don’t tell me it didn’t occur to you? You’re smarter than this.”
“You’re right, I sometimes forget what I have in front of me.” You squint your eyes while you stare at Scarlet for no reason. You think there’s a rat next to her.
“This is as far as how useful I am to you guys. I don’t tend to do much, huh?” Lise laments that she does very little despite trying so much to be an asset.
“I always appreciate everything you’ve done for us.” You won’t let Lise put herself down. “Huh, aren’t you wondering what I’m planning on doing? Honestly, I might need a hand. Your ability could come in handy.”
“I haven’t heard a word from Nina about this. Didn’t you and that Henry kid save Billy just yesterday? And you’re already looking for more trouble?” Lise sounds pretty surprised that you’re already onto a new thing.
“How about it? Interested in hearing more?” You wiggle your eyebrows.
“Don’t be a tease, and spit it out. I can hardly imagine why Welimor would be useful. Oh great, she’s now yelling at me that she isn’t useless. I never said that. She’s so insecure.” Lise mutters to herself like a crazy woman. “I should’ve kept my mouth shut since we cracked up a way to make her powers more useful. Nina asked all of us to try to find ‘creative ways’ to use our entities.”
“Sounds great, because I’m planning a heist, and I need everyone on board who can help me scout the place.” You adjust your glasses.
“Then how can I say no? Sounds like I don’t need to get my ass in trouble. Though, watching you guys do all the action on that Moon Planet was a bore. I didn’t watch much in reality…” Lise is having mixed feelings about her Dream Hill non-adventure. “Can’t say I’m on board just yet without hearing the details. I’m going to pass by the Clinic in a short bit, then I’ll be free to hash out the details. I’ll call you. See ya.” Lise ends the call, it seemed like she got where she needed to go and hung up immediately.
That was sorted out! Now you need to get your hands on the PC…
“Okay, team, I know what the next step is.” You put your phone away and direct your attention to the girls. They all are sitting by the Traditional Prancijanian Kotatsu watching TV, drinking soda, tea, and water. “We’ll check Dory’s PC. It may have what we need.”
“Oh! I remember! Is that the one you took from the octopus lady that turned into a duck?” Liu has a good memory.
“Even your life story sounds dumb when someone says it out loud...” Vera sighs.
“I thought you handed it over to Neko or someone.” Scarlet sounds a little confused.
