Courier, I’m sure you’ve heard it plenty but congratulations. It is no easy feat and truthfully, I wasn’t completely sure you could. But you’ve proved me wrong and I’m glad for it. Now, how can I be of service?
[Helios One. What the hell was that stunt about? You’re not dumb enough to think I wouldn’t notice.]
I didn’t pull any stunt, Courier. We had no agreement on what was or wasn’t off limits. The NCR had fallen into chaos and we didn’t want such a valuable facility to be destroyed. You of all people would understand.
[What’s your fascination with Helios? You certainly don’t need the power and I’ve been told Freeside hasn’t lost the electricity from the plant. What’s the angle]
Like I said, Courier. Helios one is an engineering and technological marvel. It’s one of the biggest solar plants in the Southwest United States. We’re learning more about energy conservation and solar, you keep the power and we keep this area safe. Seems like a great deal for you, actually.
Elder Hardin isn’t a good liar. He’s hiding something, but you can’t be entirely sure what. But it seems like the Brotherhood is willing to keep power flowing from Helios for nothing in return. That’s a deal the Courier would be hard pressed to turn down.
>Is there anything else you want to ask or offer to Hardin while you have his attention?
