You would never do such a thing otherwise, though the surety of the Sunites is sufficient to convince you. How could counsel from the followers of the goddess of passion and beauty steer you wrong?
Sure in your decision, you depart from the All-Faiths Hall, deliberating over what you will share with Amaranth when next you meet. Mayhaps you will tell him of the innumerable punishments that mother subjected you to, or how memories of past wars haunt you with dreams that leave you restless. Or could you tell him the truth of your identity, and the circumstances around your flight to the surface?
There is time enough for you to give further consideration to the matter. For the moment, you preoccupy yourself with your journey to the Silverwood. You should arrive only a few days later than the Eilistraeans, provided you maintain a good pace. As you recall, there are two routes that lead to the Silverwood's depths.
From the east side, facing the road, should be the most expedient route, although the terrain is more difficult to navigate here. You recall that Willow referred to the land in this direction as a 'thicket,' to indicate that it is densely wooded. Moreover, though you doubt that you would become lost, you are unfamiliar with the path through there. Then there is the west side. Although circling around to go in this direction would add several days to your journey, the way through the forest is more hospitable, and you are more familiar with the route besides.
Whatever you decide, there is ultimately no incorrect choice.
>I will enter the Silverwood from the east. It is the quickest way.>I am more familiar with the western route, and would go that way instead.
