>>5803887>>5803912>>5803930>something borrowed, a reminder of someone dear to you>acquired [PERSONALITY ASSESMENT: Purity ••]You give another look at yourself. Tonight was all about someone cherished by others and honoring his memory. Nothing more punk than open up your feelings and your emotional vulnerabilities without fear of judgement. There's no much difference between rock punk talking about loved ones in their enraged voices and furious beats, and Chet Faker or Michael Bublé on their sweet voices and smooth rhythm.
Sure, punk rock was more than that, but you get the gist. It is too about not fearing chains and cages society tries to put our souls and hearts in. You are going to meet a bunch of suits with James, but not in an average scenario inside a big company meeting room with glass doors and great view of Millennium Park. You are meeting them inside a place of liberation from internal conflicts, a place they could relax and be themselves for a few hours. They are there to honor something they loved to their last breath. I know it's an exageration, but you saw how your friend got and you can sense those suits probably had same reaction.
And for that, you would honor someone as well. It matches with tonight's theme and place. You aren't good at confronting people and exposing yourself could be the end of you in your innermost fears, imaginative scenarios filled with pessimism. But you feel an urge, a conviction telling you to be the right path to follow. This is punk as hell, kid. Go for it. You accept what your heart is saying everytime it skips a beat when you think about honoring someone deared to you as well, even to the price of exposition.
You gather some trinkets and pieces of clothing. Pins, necklace, rings, shirts, headbands, bracelets, scarfs... All in front of you.
Who do you choose to warm you in this cold, cold night?
