>>6002055>>6001606>>6001231>>6001209>>6001179You're finishing the final touches on Arachne's body. It's a slow process that requires a lot of concentration, but if you mess up you don't know if Leah will just give you a replacement body, so you'd rather make sure nothing goes wrong.
Pull, push and then weave. Pull push and then weave. Repeat the pattern, one by one, until it encompasses the entire body. It gets harder and harder to do, as you can feel Arachne being separated from you and your magic gets weaker and weaker. You pay no mind to it, pull, push, weave-
SNAP
You fall backward, as if a string that was keeping you upright suddenly broke. You feel lightheaded and dizzy, the world is spinning and it takes a few minutes for you to come back to your senses. You fear for the worse when you look back to Arachne but...
She's right there, standing up, looking at the palm of her hand like it's a work of art.
"Ha?" She snorts. "Ha. Haha?" It's like a machine trying to emulate human laughter, it's uncanny. Eventually, the laugh becomes more natural, the voice less stuck up, the expression more...her. "I can...? Forever? Ah, wait, I can think and..." she closes her mouth, then looks back to you. "What am I thinking?" She asks.
You shrug.
"Free! I can think without you knowing about it! I can move! SPIN SPIN SPIIIIN!" She starts to spin until she gets as dizzy as you were, and fall into your arms. You do let go of her pretty quick because she's actually not wearing much, she doesn't even have a bra, and the last thing you want is Etsy getting the wrong idea.
After you let go, she starts to roll around on her side, not unlike Sophia before she learned how to walk. She quickly stops once she realizes her breasts get in the way though. "Ow- Ow- Ow. I forgot what pain felt like. It's no longer just mental pain anymore! I can hurt myself in other ways! WOOOOO- Ow- okay that's enough of that."
She gets back up, and gives you a hug. It doesn't last very long, probably because she knows Etsy as well as you do by now.
"I- I need to take a walk, or a run! Or- Or- oh, I can talk to people now! I can talk to Etsy, or the kids, or anyone! I can play video games, uh, I can..." She keeps listing off random mundane things as the fire in her eyes burns ever brighter. You can't remember the last time you've seen her this happy.
Well, if you have to introduce her to your kids, you could always say she's some kind of sister? You'll let Arachne introduce tell the truth about who she is to the kids if she wants, but you think she wants to be treated like a normal person by others for now.
It does feel a little weird to not have her linked to you anymore, but Arachne has been nothing but helpful, you think she deserves to be happy and free.
The introduction to your kids goes pretty smoothly, Sophia rightfully raises an eyebrow, with Ana and Aleksander seemingly not caring that much while Mikhail is more than happy to see another 'family' member.
