When you turn off the gravity, you hear the slow creak as the ring of the station slows down and comes to a stop. Then, you open the airlock and take a look out the window. You make out the faint glow of Kali flying through the void, eventually to either fall to the surface, or doomed to orbit the moon forever. Hopefully their life support would run out before then.
Then, you reach for the Kali device. You pull on it as it hums louder and louder. When you rip the thing off, the light is blinding and the hum is deafening, before abruptly ending. Surely, the Kali just down the hall had heard that. You have an opportunity to act before they do.
