i imagine we will learn mostly of the crownlands current politics when we get to talk and listen into the discussions of the lords preparing for war. which fairs fair. i think that would also be the best way to introduce us to it.
but what happened to the entire continent during the war of the kings and the song of ice and fire? are we following the show or the books in terms of the cannon of what happened, and if we are following the books, what answer are you using for what happened during the endings of a song of ice and fire? after all there are alot of different theories, and they have very wildly different impacts upon our possible moves depending on which one we are going with.
like, is the big houses all dead? you described the crownlands AND the stormlands as having no true king, the north being only ruled by wolves. does that mean the stark household didn't die out? the vale was mentioned as being nearly untouched by war the last century, but is house arryn still in control? did denarys's dragons survive, or at least produce eggs while they lived before their death? is dorne independent again? alot of stuff can happen in a 100 year timespan,
i just want to know, since i think it's pretty important to know what we are actually dealing with before we begin having any grand scale ideas.
