You don't argue with her on this, 1 million is a really high amount, but if it guarantees the safety of your kid then it might be worth it.
You decide to make it a family computer for now, and keep the phone for yourself until you figure she's mature enough to use it, maybe when she's 13.
Sophia's pretty excited about using the internet, although you made sure to only give her access to websites she needs for school to avoid any distraction.
She talks your ear off about random things she learned by pressing the random button on wikipedia in the following weeks, and her grades tank a bit because of the distraction it caused, but they come back up once she realizes you'll take her computer privilege away if she doesn't have <span class="mu-i">at least</span> passing grades. This motivates her enough to actually start taking her classes seriously.
Apart from that, the rest of the year goes smoothly. Anastasia was alone for most of the year since Etsy was busy building Last Resort, and it's a shame you weren't able to spend as much time with her as the other two. It'll be even harder to focus on her now that another kid is coming, so you hope it didn't mess up her development somehow.
You get another kid, a boy this time. He cries for about three minutes after birth, only for him to fall back asleep once he's done. You're a little worried there's something wrong with him at first, but it looks like he's just a very sleepy kid, as Arachne doesn't notice any symptom that would imply anything bad. He technically cries less than the others, but that's because he's a lot easier to put to sleep than the others, you're pretty sure he'd cry more if he stayed awake longer.
