>>6234224>>6234251>FOOD SONGSI am from England hehe, but as I mentioned before I also grew up a bit in Carrickfergus, Belfast N. Ireland (when I was very young). I have also worked in many countries including Frankfurt, Hong Kong, San Francisco doing vampire sorcery things.
I am not too familiar with Americana, but an artist I remember that used to play in a vintage themed cafe I went to sometimes for lunch in Spitalfields London, this gentleman (he is black) called Fats Waller. I think it might be more of a 1940s thing? It could also be appropriate for a Fallout setting hehe, but this was some actual Americana restaurant music I heard whilst eating. I don't remember any specific songs, I am not too familiar with this artist, but his music was fairly soothing

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PSNPpssruFYMost of my idea of "American music" is obviously influenced by films and videogames, so often it has a sort of noir ish or thriller / think Michael Mann type Heat, Collateral, GTA V type feel. So in my mind I don't know if this sort of music is suitable for food / gastronomic accompaniment lol.
If you are looking for a more modern / American noir diner thing, say late at night in a contemporary city with a sort of Nighthawks Edward Hopper painting atmosphere, I can think of this piece of music (I just heard this many years ago randomly) I think it would be good for a scene eating alone, at night.
This is a synth / electronica downtempo piece
