I imagine the industries are like MSCI World GICS classifications but IN SPACE, so you have consumer, industrials, resources, utilities, tech, communications etc There should also be slavery, it probably comes under the subsector for professional services. Some industries are restricted or embargoed eg weapons RAIL GUNS THERE WILL BE RAIL GUNS, infrastructure, finance etc and may require bribes to unlock (affects Governance stat above).
My idea also is there will be various faction affiliations which also impacts the Governance statistic. Governance likely a residual adjustment after the income calculation.
The WINNER is whoever has the highest valuation ie cumulative asset base after say 5 complete turns.
There will also be a business cycle type effect which affects the tone of the story over the phases and turns.
If a player drops out... a rogue AI takes over governance of their space corporation!! (DM rolls randomly)
Any thoughts as to how this might play? I am building some interstellar lore and galactic dynasty background for this setting. The look of it will probably resemble the Isonomy faction lore from my quest The LIGHTNING SEA
