>>6229030>>6228786>anachronistic fantasy>dnd as MEDIEVAL COWBOYS everytime you add guns, everything becomes cowboys?Recently I watched a cool unintellectual film called In The Lost Lands, ostensibly this is about witches and werewolves I think GRR Martin wrote it but this film which is made by the Resident Evil director and also stars Milla Jovovich who somehow still looks moderately hot despite being old with silly distracting face tattoos, this film has some MINDBLOWING cgi graphics landscapes, I think they made it in Poland and we know Poland is very good at cgi graphics eg the Platige Images studio who make the Witcher trailers etc.
Anyway the setting of this film is literally NECROMUNDA TRENCH CRUSADE there is some of the most breathtaking postapocalyptic scenery I have ever seen since Mad Max Fury Road, everywhere there are SKULLS and CHASMS these are the main requirements for wasteland orgasm. I was very aroused by the art design of this film. The main story is nonsense lol and also strangely surprisingly sexless as well for the Gen Z neutered generation, but there is a fair amount of action and fighting of the dual-wielding Resident Evil variety and you will probably anticipate the plot twist lol it is super obvious given the limited number of characters.
Also, as you know I am very interested in cinematic fx depictions of MAGIC and this film has a very unique approach, basically all the magic is sort of a fake illusion or persuasion / glamour, witch Milla Jovovich basically looks them in the eye and makes them "see" things that trick them into believing or doing things that aren't real. The way this is visually portrayed is very intriguing
The film probably doesn't possess any moral purpose beyond informing you that post apocalyptic iron SKULL CHURCHES are probably bad especially if they are architecturally adorned and garlanded with spike cages SLAVE PIT MINES and crucifixions TORTURE PAIN RAILWAY LOCOMOTIVES and also ultra-zealous BLACK PEOPLE (in this film, in a strange inversion of Klu Klux Klan crusader imagery black people and bald lesbian women are all religious leaders and evil) Anyway, the main point of this film is not to analyse the depths of its message or Milla Jovovich increasingly sexless acting ability but to salivate instead over the gorgeous post apocalyptic ruins and sweeping panoramas, behold, pic related
