This might be an alternative, modernised take on John Carpenter Escape From LA lol instead of the typical grim 80s pseudo-apocalyptic thrash metal look (outdated and overused and overdone now) it is like that Sofia Coppola film The Bling Ring (about delinquent youth looting their idolised Hollywood celebrity homes) except with assault rifles. Instead of the grim dystopian apocalyptic look, a sort of vapid conspicuous consumption ostentation and luxury retail / beachfront pool house theme
It is also interesting because teen dramas furnish readily available archetypes, I suppose pbta rpg calls them playbooks (Cheerleader, Athlete/Jock, Heiress, Loner/Goth/Hacker, Rebel/Misfit/Outcast, Counsellor/Confidante, Authority Figure / Guardian / Mentor / Parent etc) which could be used to complement the blandness of a military shooter type setting (typically the guns and gear have more character and emotional depth than the people lol) Maybe don't take the teen high school drama thing too far otherwise you get that Japanese Battle Royale II sequel scene in Afghanistan, or alternatively that SWAT raid shootout set in a bathtub in Euphoria. From my experience in extraction shooters it is imperative to stay mobile (near multiple exits / entrances, readily available avenues to manoeuvre, reposition or escape) the stationary single location holdout tactics hiding and camping in a bathtub never ends well
Anyway, pic related is the aforementioned Euphoria bathtub shootout scene, nobody cares about Zendaya, these two drug dealers Ashtray and Fez were the stars of the show
