“Baron Budapest, why are you attacking these people? I would have kept myself out of this business if I had not heard of such an outragious claim!” bellowed Lucian as he spoke at the top of his lungs.
“They were the fools who gave me horrible food and deserve to be made an example of.” Spoke the Baron just affirming the words of the Elder, “If I was the ruler of these lands then I would be well within my right to execute those who gave me such horrible porridge and meats. And in truth, I am the Rightful Ruler, for it was three generations ago that my family held these lands.”
“The Lady would not bless these actions!”
“The Lady blesses me for this is my first step towards regaining what is rightfully mine. By exercising my authority then none will deny the lands of my forefathers from me.” He bellowed with rumbling anger, “And if it means running you down below my feet then so be it. The future Prince of Bordeleaux will thank me for my lance piercing your heart. Who knows, I may become Duke of Aquitaine through his support.”
In truth all this talk was above Lucian’s head now. If this man really did have a claim, or really what it meant to have one. All that Lucian knew was that this man was bullshitting him in claiming that he was the true ruler of these people. Why else would he come to them with torches beared and spears held high.
It was clear he was aiming to run them all down. Only through Lucian’s intervention did they escape death.
The only question was, how did they continue?
>Declare a Duel
>CHARGE!
>Retreat into the village for a brawl
