If Odysseus DOES piece out why we are here, we'll need to preempt him and go to Menelaus and tell him ourselves so Odysseus can't use it against us. Even though either way it will hurt us. Menelaus would probably be more amenable to the idea that his niece wanted his family to look strong than whatever bullshit story Odysseus would spin about us being sent here to thwart his efforts to get his wife back.
