The wheel of the worst keeps on spinning and spinning until it lands on a thing nobody wanted: A Trivia Quiz Match! On the positive side, Nariko is really smart so this is basically in the bag. On the negative side, you’ll have to watch it. It’s not like you hate game shows, but this is the equivalent of your classmates pretending to be in one, and that sounds tiring.
The Referee thanks you for your cooperation, then magically makes the scenario for the game to go along. A podium with a button in the middle appears in front of each participant. The Host will ask questions from a myriad of topics, and the players who presses the button in front of them first will get to answer. If guessed correctly, they get one point! If they get it wrong, they can’t answer the next question! The first contestant to reach 5 points wins the duel!
You happen to notice that during this introduction that the Toucan Referees are wildly different from the Wyvern Knights (not just physically). What caught your attention the most is that the duel wasn’t previously agreed upon to go underway, and at no moment physical contact was barred between participants. If only you had a dance that could convey all this information to Nariko, but alas, you’ll have to believe in her capabilities to deal with this! You don’t want to give Tonu an edge because you don’t know what his ability is, and Nariko is already at an advantage as things stand.
Now a new host will be called to precede the duel! You know, because the Toucan sounds too weird to be the one asking questions. From the host’s stand… Constance’s entity Athelone shows up…!
“My sincerest apologies, contestants! It appears to be that the Judges of this jurisdiction is too engaged in other activities to oversee this duel at the moment. I’ll take charge. The name is Athelone, my darlings.” Athelone is so happy to be outside that cage! “No need for further introductions, I’m here to read...” Athelone glances at you and forces you to keep quiet.
“You both have seen her before, huh?” Tonu caught on that fast even if Athelone wanted it to go unnoticed.
“Already coming up with excuses, Tonu?” Nariko deflects by being smug. “We both know you had no chance to begin with.”
