“Thats…” Lucian held but his words to find the correct ones for this occasion, “Cool. I guess I never really heard how the world was made. I think I only heard that at one point chaos reigned.”
“Warmbloods, such as you, do not know before Chaos.” Tyny said as he gave a series of clicks and nods to accompany his words, “We do. We the Children of the Old Ones.”
So in a sense they were kinda like the Dwarfs who worshiped their ancestors as Gods. As Lucian learned the Dwarfs all could trace their lineage to the gods like Grimnir and Thungri. Was it that these Lizardmen carried the same relation or was it something else.
Looking upon the giant monster who held Tyny for the moment, Lucian guessed that things were slightly different from what he was understanding.
“So, was our meeting prophesized?” Lucian with a small amount of confusion, “The Gods know what the Gods know and I am blessed by at least Morr and aim for the Lady’s Favor, but do your lords also support me in my battle against Nagash’s Spawn?”
There was a twinkle in the eyes of the little lizard. A sign that Lucian had made the correct question for the future, “In a sense, within your reason, yes it was. Firstborn of the Slann, Lord Kroak, has seen that great forces are afoot. It is said that a new God, who is of Death, grows his dominion in the lands of Young Warmbloods. Tee-Ny-Tyny sent to survey and learn. Fight against growing Chaos before it gains foothold in realms outside Lustria.”
“That Lord you speak of, that would be Nagash.” Lucian told the Lizardman firmly now, his understanding certain now, “Your Gods knew that Nagash is trying to rise again against mankind, so they sent you.”
“Yes, Tee-Ny-Tyny was sent for that.” For the first time the small lizard leaned forward into Lucian for a much closer inspection of the Knight, “We have same goal, Lucian and Tee-Ny-Tyny do. What do you know?”
As he was asked Lucian gave to the lizard what was essentially the tale of his life. The warrior gave the tale of his village, how it was laid to ruin by Von Castein and the wolves that she wielded. He gave to the Lizard as well the tale of the Necromancers and how they attempted to raise the blessed body of a Grail Knight from slumber.
He tried to keep it as firm with detail as possible. If he did it right, who knows, maybe the Lizard will help him.
