“I’m sure I am! But I relate to you regardless!” Debbie reels this back to the topic. “And I know how much a helping hand can make a difference to a struggling artist!”
“I-I’m not struggling, I haven’t debuted yet…!” Vortexia feels like her entire story has been misconstrued. “Also, can we stand up?!”
“S-Sorry!” Debbie stands up like Vortexia caught on fire or something. “What I’m trying to say is, you need all the help you can, and we’ll be glad to be in your corner!”
“You’re awful at encouraging people...” The Clutz can’t believe this.
“P-Please, she’s trying her best.” You beg her to be sensible.
“I’m listening.” The Clutz admits she has a tiny little soft spot for the deluded Blueberry.
“I’m sorry I can’t be better, but that’s why I sing… It’s the only time I feel like people understand what I want to tell them.” Debbie looks down. Ajna pats her back.
“I… ugh…” Vortexia seems disgusted at something. You can’t tell if it is herself, Debbie, the situation or something else. “...I get it. Thank you for not delaying my way to stardom. But this is the last time I’ll say something nice to you people!”
“Right, we won’t be talking to you if we have the chance.” Nariko shrugs.
“Wrong, you’ll all be dying to talk to me when you’ll inevitably become my precious fans!” Vortexia does her haughty laugh. These two will continue to be rivals for the foreseeable future.
Seems like that’s that. The second big step to making the band a success is pretty much done, and nobody was hurt in the process except for the Clutz’s ego… and Nariko’s bra. Anyway, after you sign the papers, there’s not much else to do here.
