Carie opens her notebook and flip through some pages. "So, this one was easier than Robert's, thank goodness! This man works at 'Terra Foundation For American Art', at Erie Street. He's Senior Curator and Curator of Permanent Collection at Chicago. Terra Foundation is isn't too old nor too new. In the middle. Helps on supporing art throughout all US. Good to know: Terra building here in Chicago is the center of operation of all Terra foundation in the whole US. This guy is pretty big and influential."
"Anything of note on his life?"
"Nothing much. Married a couple of times, all wives asked for a divorce, he gave in without a problem. Got kids with all wives, but it seems none talk to him. My sources say that 'bad blood runs in the family'..."
"Good, good"
"His social circle, apparently, is Chicago's elite and people from his work. He does, however, had some meetings with influential people from Chicago's alt scene. A woman with the nickname 'Bitch Queen' shows often in my notes and some pics my source gave me."
"What can you tell me about this... 'Bitch Queen'?", Shannon does some air quotes when talking about the woman.
"I hit on a wall trying to find about her. If Robert had problems following tracks on tenure's family, I didn't have this problem because I found a black hole instead of a wall. Nothing to see, nothing to search about. Kinda scary for someone who just likes goth music and BDSM, right?"
"For now, a dead end. Next"
"About the relic. They like to call those old art pieces as 'relic'. Anyway. The relic: It isn't sure if it's from Sumer, but it was found in North Africa. It has some egyptian motifs as well, but some writings/inscriptions on it suggest it was from...", Carie flips her notebook over and over. She sighs. "You got it. Mysterious ancient relic. What goofy mystery story!"
"Ok. Valuable and mysterious art. Anything more on your target and Robert's target connection?"
"Yes, I got! The art trade wasn't first time they met. They met not only in 2020, but in 2019 and 2018. My sources couldn't tell the whole details, but it was something regarding an 'urgent meeting towards financial health of both institutions' and 'personal matters regarding people of interest'. I tried to push for more, but my source refused."
"Why?"
"Afraid of losing the job. Too risky and etc"
