“Carol, come here.” You signal with your hand to come back to the bed. You three look serious, not upset or anything, like nothing bad has been done. It’s only one tiny mistake that doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. “It’s gonna be fine.”
A wary Carol approaches slowly at first, but then, she can feel there’s no danger – and when she’s within range, bam, you snatch the phone out of her hands! You’re an older brother! You have mastered this technique long before you even walked!
“H-Hey, give that back!” Carol tries to take it from your hands.
“Hmm, need your fingerprint to unlock.” In the chaos, you place the phone under her finger without her realizing what you’ve done. “Thank you.”
“W-What?! No!” Carol realizes what she has done.
“Took him long enough.” Vortexia radiates big sister energy as she looks down on you.
“He was too kind. I bet his little sister takes advantage of it.” Emily judges you too as a bigger sibling as well.
“Hey! Don’t treat me like I’m a shit-bling! I’m the oldest one in my family!” Carol can feel where the vibes are going.
“Resuming the call.” You make the call again.
“Uh-oh.” Carol forgot what she was doing.
“And we’re back! Sorry about that!” You apologize once you see the two beautiful ladies again.
“What a nice surprise! I love this new angle.” Grace smiles upon seeing your face up close.
“What happened to the call?” Pansori wonders.
“A tiny technical difficulty. We’re gonna make sure it’s not going to happen again.” You wink.
“My Pannie, don’t ask about the weather, be assertive!” Grace wants her girl to improve her game.
“M-Mom, stop.” Pansori doesn’t want this!
“Don’t get her wrong. She told me all about how dreamy you look when the call stopped.” Grace is really pushing this.
“M-MOM!” Pansori dies of embarrassment. She turns all red, curls into a ball, and drops out of frame.
“C’mon, baby, if you leave your mother to do all the work, she might get greedy.” Grace picks her daughter back up and kisses her on the head.
“MOM, SHUT UP!” Carol shouts from the farthest away corner of the bed, she’s a ball herself within all the blankets.
“I swear they are great girls, just a little shy.” Grace doesn’t know where she went wrong.
“About that…” Emily wants to pick up things from here. “Mind if I start explaining?”
“Go ahead.” Grace has her other daughter resting on her lap, scratching the back of her ear. She’s mostly out of view except for a portion of her side head.
