The Early Days, Judgment Day, The Cult Takedown, The previously mentioned Bubble Arc, The post-Bubble Arc shenanigans. Now this lovely lady is up to date with the lore of Johnny Ando.
“Your OWN sister tried to kill you?!!!” Vera is losing her mind about the many events that have transpired.
“Vera, you can’t yell every time someone tries to kill me. It’s getting old.” Unlike you if someone succeeds.
“BUT IT HAPPENS SO FREQUENTLY AND IT SHOULDN’T! YOUR SISTER, YOUR STEPDAD, THAT SPINSTER, AND… AAAAH!!!” Vera doesn’t want this to be normal! “WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU?! WHAT’S WRONG WITH THEM?! <span class="mu-s">WHAT’S WRONG WITH EVERYONE?!!!</span>”
“Calm down, they’re going to find us if you keep yelling.” You remind Vera that you’re hidden here!
“Uhm, Classes finished 15 minutes ago.” Headphones Liu didn’t want to interrupt but did anyway.
“They did?” You don’t remember hearing the bell. You were too into it.
“It took you hours to finish your story.” Liu doesn’t want to be mean but she’s telling the truth.
“<span class="mu-i">Oh…</span>” You feel bad for hogging the time. “My bad.”
“They were very enthralling.” Liu smiles to make you feel better. She didn’t mind listening to all of it. <span class="mu-i">…Wait.</span>
“Also, Vera, is that a ‘yes’ for joining the Prison Break plot?” You ask before a pesky detail dawns on you about what Liu implied… or directly said.
“YES! I’M IN! I don’t care how dumb it is, I need to protect you!!!” Vera wants you alive no matter what. She deeply regrets not talking to you, she feels even dumber than before.
“Welcome aboard, Vera.” You adjust your glasses. These pigtails did the trick. Why were you here again?
“Hey, Liu, you listened to us?!” Vera just realizes as her panic dies down.
“I-I’m sorry, but I binge-watched all I had.” Liu apologizes as her hiccups begin.
“What are we going to do with you?!” Vera is ready to deal with another loose thread…
