Then it stirred and whatever courage you thought you had fled you, what you had thought dark hills and shoals moved, they were not hills or shoals or coral reefs....your mind went taught as you simply tried to grasp what such a creature was but it failed, it was larger than a whale, larger than any Kraken the maesters could tell you, larger than any ship, your eyes were wider than plates but any pain went unnoticed.

your heart hammered in your chest and your head throbed with unameable pain, you wanted to scream, to cry, to laugh madly and it was only by the smallest shred of remaining sanity that you did not, something evil clawed at your mind like steel against stone, you felt lost, dizzy within yourself. Something pulled at you pulling you down into the blackness, you bucked and kicked and thrashed and your limbs burned to no avail, Inky blackness swallowed you and you tumbled, tumbled, tumbled, you struck your head on something hard and sharp but kept on falling, flailing, pulled by unknown forces into an abyss that never ended, strange colors and faces swam in your confusion until you landed upon soft sand.
Your head hurt, your eyes stung and your head hammered but you were alive, and blanketed in darkness so dark your heart ached for sunlight and someone’s, anyones voice or light. You felt things nibble at you and prayed it wasn’t some horror from a nightmare, to your relief some strangely lit fish chanced upon you revealing corpse pale fish blind as bats which fled it.
You would have wept were you not beneath the nightmarish ocean.
