“Nariko, you did amazing! Great work!” You cherish her immaculate skills!
“Thank you, dear Johnny!” Nariko looks way too proud of herself. “He stood no chance!”
“Yeah, you absolutely annihilated him!” You nod like a doofus.
“I’m disappointed he didn’t want to put up any resemblance of a fight. I’m certain that he knew the answer for that last one.” Nariko doesn’t look disappointed now.
“How do you know?” You’re curious.
“I recall him finding the fact amusing once. The Battle for the Bucket one.” Nariko puts a sole finger on her chin. “I suppose that remembering him was his victory.”
“Don’t think it was enough for him. He wasn’t happy after the battle.” You know when a person dislikes losing.
“Aside from your praise, I’m not either. I want my keyboard.” Nariko checks her phone to see the timer ticking.
“Then let’s catch his duel so he doesn’t weasel out from this one.” You propose.
“Follow me! I have the Referee’s coordinates.” Nariko shows her phone once again to show a map!
Unsurprisingly, you return to the Main Gate. If Tonu is going to have a duel with someone from outside this academy, you gotta meet at the entrance, right? The Keyboard thief reiterates that he will return the item once he spots you two here, but you let him know you’re here to watch and nothing more. He lets that pass, and insinuates he’ll use this opportunity to show off unlike with the duel! Nariko has low expectations. The Golden Sword doesn’t bring any other members but Tonu. How odd.
Oh boy! A delinquent duel! This reminds you of the time you fought Trent with his former school’s karate club watching. Strangely, you don’t remember the outcome…
The peaceful silence of the soulless city is shattered by the beating of a drum getting closer. No, this isn’t the solemn rhythm of a funeral march, but the incessant clashing of a party atmosphere! An ominous prelude of what is to come. Flaming from afar, you notice the sky color of the Blue Echinacea Flag in all its splendor moving rapidly!
“Mr. Tonu.” The solemn voice of a woman comes out from one of the nearest campus’ speakers. “You have 30 minutes to wipe these intruders out, or else we’ll be forced to call the NU Forces. I expect great success. You’ve been warned.”
“Woah, she’s always nagging me.” Tonu chuckles.
“Who’s that?” You ask Nariko since she studied here.
