>>5759622>>5759625>>5759667>>5759671Once the headache fades, you set out in search of Lily. It isn't easy to find her, as you can't just enter Gryffindor tower and the Gryffindor girls are less than cooperative. It takes one of your soldiers showing up for you to be able to get some information about it, only to find out she isn't there. You ask a few paintings and after a while wandering the castle, you eventually make your way to the Quidditch pitch where you find her beating bludgers as far away as she can before it comes back and she sends it flying once more.
"Hey, Lily."
She nearly jumps when you say her name, and nearly gets hit by one when she turns around to face you.
"<span class="mu-i">Arresto Momentum!</span>"
Soon, the bludgers are back in their box and she is looking everywhere except at you. This is not the Lily who tried to kiss you. This is still the Lily who backed away.
"I don't suppose I was lucky enough that you forgot about last night, was I?"
"I don't remember much," you admit. "But I remember enough."
"Enough to remember I made an arse of myself?"
"Enough to remember we were about to make a mistake, and we stopped it on time," you offer, shifting the blame. Being a cunning Slytherin isn't useful <span class="mu-i">only</span> for blackmail and evil lies, after all. Sometimes it can be used to avoid making people feel like shit.
"That's... a nice way to put it. Thank you, Elliot."
"Were you invisible outside the party, waiting for me to be alone before coming to talk to me?"
