I’m sorry to bring it up, but should your wife have been taken by the legion? The NCR allowed slavery for so long, making a lot of money on it. I know, I know, the NCR isn’t perfect but it’s the best we have, right?]

The Courier leans back in his chair, letting the words sink in. He can see a battle of thoughts and emotions play across Boone’s face. Thankfully, acceptance settles on his worn features.

Boone stands from the sofa and walks over to his rifle, picking it up and slinging it over his shoulder. Without turning, he gives a parting remark.
“But if I see those Enclave fucks around again, that’ll be a much unfriendlier conversation.”
