But you draw your left jab back, blocking the kick with your forearm and shoving her back, your wife taking that force into a clockwise spin into a right turning kick. However, you were ready, instead of blocking you catch her whole shin in your giant hand.
“Gotcha hun.” you say with a smirk, firing a powerful left at her face. Unable to dodge she brings both arms back into an 'X' guard, taking the full power of your punch. Which she withstands quite well, her improved powerlevel keeping her from being blown away so simply. But you don't let up, unleashing a barrage of powerful strikes into her guard, forcing her to fire off an Explosive Wave to break free of your grip. However, the instant that wave ends she's drawn her blade, firing two dozen Ki Needles at you with a swipe of her blade. Leaving you only one option. “Barrier!”
Throwing your arms wide as you shout, you form a shield of ki that stops her attack short, the needles all sticking into your shield for a second before exploding. Obscuring your vision, but with your ki sense you can tell where she is, going for the Instant Transmission to try and sneak up behind you. So, as she materializes you swing back with a ki-clad right backfist, catching her by surprise and launching her clear out of the smoke cloud while also blowing it away a moment later. After a dozen or so yards she rights herself, stopping her uncontrolled flight and retakes her fighting stance.
“Nice try hun. But you can't sneak up on me with that one.” you tell her, Meloka grinning back as you resume your stance. She has a slight edge in power, but much more noticeably is faster than you too. Which leaves one question:
