Since Ice is water, and probably has influences of Ying, Wood might be a good bet for this upcoming fight, use his attacks to empower us. And our primordial qi might eve strengthen it as well.
But going for earth for it to destroy the water qi could work too. Trying to overwhelm his water qi with so much fire qi that it starts insulting instead of being destroyed is a possible tactic, but I don't think it would be viable for us.
