Just her dismissive attitude, callousness, and being a cheapskate. The way she treats her staff, how she treated Vortexia as an afterthought, and how she ruined your date. She made it all make sense without mentioning the magical elephant in the room. She finishes it with a plea to hold Carol accountable when you three are unable to.
“…That’s all, Ms. Andreev.” Emily finishes her exposition.
“Oh! I go by Ms. Sung! How strange. Why did Carol tell you my maiden name?” Grace is pretty surprised.
“S-Sorry, and I have little clue, Ms. Sung.” Emily plays dumb.
“I didn’t…” Carol grumbles all confused inside her fort.
“I will certainly take this matter seriously.” Grace doesn’t feel the need to defend her daughter’s actions. “Carol, Is it true? Do you want to be held accountable?”
“I don’t know what I want anymore…” Carol grumbles within her comfy shell. “I was coerced into this…” The idol mutters so it can only be audible for you. Carol will resent you for tricking her.
“You don’t want to lose these two brilliant ladies, and this *very* handsome man from your life, do you?” Grace asks. “They’re willing to forgive you if you put in the work. They want the best for you. But you’re an adult woman, it’s up to you…”
“You just want to go back to nagging me, right…?” Carol knows her fate.
“I miss being there supporting you! Ever since we missed that videotaping, you don’t want us to see you perform. I truly miss watching my baby shine.” Grace grins. “And you need a good scolding!”
“I'd rather you said what I said...” Carol grits her teeth. “Fine, I’ll do it…”
“Really?!” Your plan worked!? Take that, Vera! Your nonsense always pays off!
“God damn, you’re stubborn.” Vortexia was already sick of waiting.
“This is surprising.” Emily is astonished.
