They carried on from there for roughly another hour before the next question was asked. Lucian had to note that the amount of Vineyards was decreasing by the mile and he had personally stopped recognizing the country side. They were closing in on the border.
One more county, a few more hours, Lucian reasoned.
“My Lord, if I may ask, what is this question that you had set yourself upon?” The question was asked without much fanfare.
Lucian looked towards the Lizard and Adok. The later did not much care and focused his eyes on the scenery that was around them while Tyny did not move his eye at all. He had licked it here and there, but never did it break contact with the person who was on his saddle.
It was here that Lucian decided to go with his gut and give an answer, “I am traveling to Albion for knowledge.”
“Oh, the land of Giants!” The Peasant said which caused Lucian a moment of confusion.
“You know of it?” The Peasant said honestly. When he was within Verac he barely knew of the Empire nextdoor, let alone what was the island so far off the shores of Bretonnia.
“I heard that it was covered by a mist throughout the entire year.” said the Peasant with some wonder, “I knew some sailors who tried to go there once but every time they entered the fog they were seemingly turned around. Came out the same place they went in.”
“I have not heard that.” Lucian gave his surprise and interest now, turning to see the Peasant giving a smile.
“Yes, my Lord, I heard it from the same fisherman.” The fellow said with some excitement within his voice, “I heard that there are massive creatures that are the size of houses walking around and carving both stone and wood. I can only imagine what it would be like.”
“You’re kinda right.” Lucian gave such a perspective some thought.
“Is there something you are looking forward to my lord, besides the main reason for your quest?” The Peasant asked with a small smile.
