>>5685035Ursula is the last one to get back into the carriage and shuts it tight.
Amelia puts the book inside her bear bag, and leaves it in the front seat of the carriage, helping obstruck the view from the window in front (there are curtains blocking as well). Then she asks her bag to take care of all the machinery left. Your sister makes a call before bothering with the delinquent fight…
“Hey! It’s me!” Amelia is a little nervous. “I’m dealing with, uhm, a Code Black. P-Please, don’t choke on your sweets! Oh. I-It was your coffee? I mean… O.K.! Ah? You want me to what? I can’t disengage now, I promised a lot of people that I wouldn’t. Oh… uhm… Backup? Sure! I am at the Golden Peak Academy. Mhm. Mhm. Mhm. O.K.! I’ll take care! Bye-bye!” Amelia pockets her phone now.
Nariko lets you know that Nina sent her an urgent message about backing your sister up in case her duel goes wrong. She lets Nina know that she, you, and Yu Yan are here already. Nina is very confused but relieved. Amelia was following Motley Crew protocol unlike Nariko... You’ll let this pass because it’s not your business, and she did great before.
Amelia skips forward, crossing the main gate. Nariko lets you know that there’s no one at this part of the campus. The principal really planned this for a while.
“Mister, we don’t have to do this if you surrender.” Amelia wants peace.
“Woah! Didn’t expect that. Why don’t you surrender instead?” Tonu throws the ball back.
“They rely on me.” Amelia shakes her head.
“Hey, hey! You know that beast of a woman is manipulating you, right?” Tonu has no chill and wants Amelia to change sides! “She’s not your friend. She was the one who called me out here today.”
“I know! We’re acquaintances! Study buddies, if you will.” Amelia shakes her head.
“You’re ignoring the important bit, little lass…” Tonu crosses his arms. “You don’t want to sacrifice yourself for someone who doesn’t care about you.”
“But I care about her dream of becoming a doctor.” Amelia’s walk is pretty decisive.
“The doctor thing? That’s a duppity lie.” Tonu doesn’t mind talking to someone he believes to be an idiot.
“What do you know? I’ve seen her dedication.” Amelia doesn’t care about Tonu’s impressions.
“Ah. You’re like me. You cling onto your own truths.” Tonu smiles.
“We’re nothing alike.” Amelia shakes her head furiously. “My team is there, and you’re alone.”
“Pyohoho, you’re wrong! My boys and girls are hiding just like yours!” Tonu has a good laugh. “I’m not quitting either way.”
“O.K.” Amelia sighs. Happy with herself for trying. “Mr. Referee, we want a match!”
The Flying Referee on Tonu’s shoulder nods, then gets ready to start the duel. Once again, a wheel of misfortune appears…
