(Okay, sorry if I screwed up and it was unclear with the instructions. My bad, never been good at that part. Everyone got how attacks work but Dodging is basically just pick that option then call HIGH or LOW without rolling, after that I roll before updating and see if the attack hits or not. Sorry if it wasn't worded well. From now on combat options will be labeled as [ATTACK] or [DODGE] to make it easier to know which is which and if a roll is necessary. If it doesn't say either of those two things then its just a free option. That's about the extent of it though, don't wanna complicate shit too much.)
>>5759372>>5759491You manage to swerve past the projectile and it embeds on the face of one of the guys below. Bet that guy who tossed it feels really stupid now, huh? Unscathed, you rush forward.
>>5759461>>5759513>>5759527>>5759541Keeping up that momentum, you decide to go for something way crazier and stick your lance on the big guy's bald ugly head, and vault over, reaching the next floor with a kick that clears the way and takes them all by surprise! You're putting up a great show!
And what's best, from here you can see the location you need to be at: the "Sweets n' Sugars" candy store at the Destroy Mall. And hey, the entrance is unguarded because all the mooks were chasing after you instead! Unfortunately, they still are.
You attempt to strike them but...
Oops. Your Beam Lance has run out of juice!
You cannot fight like this!
Will you keep going, or take a break?
>Run to the candy shop and break the doors to enter! Stopping means death! [ATTACK]>Try to hide in a different store nearby to recharge your weapon before proceeding.>Quickly recharge out in the open and hope they don't rush you while you're not looking.
