You fell further; you decided to think of Mithras, though you weren't certain whether you should say the name of the country or simply think of it. Wizards are terribly fickle creatures, and this emperor seems no different.
As you thought of going to Mithras, you stopped falling. Instead, it was more like you were being pulled towards the archipelago with a force you couldn't resist. You felt like a bird of prey, like a falcon diving to snatch a mouse from the field. You accelerated with an inhuman speed, though it would nearly seem that you would dash against either the waves or the cliffs with gory results; at the last second, you were pulled up into the sky, soaring effortlessly towards the horizon.
This process, of falling and climbing in the air, repeated itself as you attempted to get the hang of this strange realm. You eventually managed to stabilise yourself in the air, not as much flying as you are floating, until you think of a next destination.
You appear to be somewhere off the coast, with the waves crashing against the shore and seagulls circling overhead. A western-style ship sails off the coast, to a place unknown to you. You think for a while, while keeping your mind on the topic of remaining still and afloat.
To test a thing, you decided to come in close to the ship to try and see if they could see you, but it appeared they couldn't, even when you landed on their deck. Instead, they simply continued on with their tasks, ignoring your presence. You realised that you were invisible to them.
There are several things you could do with this power, you suddenly realised. First, you could spy on any men, women, or any other creature without being found. That would mean that the secrets of the Emperor, Montpelerin, the other crusaders, and the Mizarians could be plucked without them noticing, though you weren't certain if you could understand their speech in this state or not.
Another idea also suddenly popped into your head: if you could think of places to bring you to them, why not think of people to bring you to them? There was one person you decided you could test this out upon: Prokopios Maniakes. Sniffing out his hiding hole could make you a favourite at court if you did it right. Still, you could also test the limits of your imagination by thinking of the palace.
>Go to Elisonikon, time to see what the Mithradians are doing.
>Think of Raymond de Montpelerin, size him up so you can plan ahead
>Think of the capital of the Mizarians
>Go to the Doge's flagship
>Think of Prokopios Maniakes
>Think of the hidden palace
