The magical girl slowly leans over the conference table. Her gaze is kept low, focused more on the 'well-seasoned' table than anyone or anything else. That oddly spicy scent you smelled when you first came into this building is suddenly a lot more intense. It's like a mixture of pepper spray laced with sickly sweet orange zest and fresh cream.
Everyone but Clover and Casey begin to back away in case this turns into a scuffle.

It stops as soon as you swore it was picking up in intensity. The magical girl flashes a beaming smile towards the group, "Ah! Indeed, valiant heroes! I was so caught up in my latest line of work that I forgot about the righteousness you showed me so, so long ago!"

"Nonsense! I shall hold my end of the deal. The coins and knightly armor shall be enough. As for you two?"
The magical girl snaps her fingers.
Clover immediately go stiff as if their bodies were turned into stone.
[BUGMEAT] Casey...doesn't react at first. Her face strains for a moment as if she's actively forcing herself to 'lower' her resistance. Once she does, she locks up like Clover.

Your group all lets out a sigh of relief; this could actually be a relatively quick DISTRICT trip. You knew about Shockley but conformation that AA is here is great news.
