>>5916828>>5916832>22You take a moment to focus, letting your mind bloom like a flower to get a general idea of who's nearby. In mere moments, dozens on dozens of tiny little lights flicker around you but you realize most of those are just people sleeping nearby.
As for the actual important dots? You sense <span class="mu-r">three</span> outside of your front door and <span class="mu-r">one</span> a few feet outside of your window. While you only know the rough locations, you can make out that all three of them are armed but <span class="mu-b">the one outside of your window is currently distracted by another dot.</span> It's small, probably a wild animal?
The other two are <span class="mu-r">focused at the front door, waiting for you.</span>
They have different colors to them. One is bright red dot, is right in front of your door. Another, a smaller grey dot, waits at the foot of the stairs leading to your apartment. A third one, a silver dot, watches on from the distance. The final dot outside your window is a blue dot.
<<span class="mu-b">"Well?"</span>> Ashley whispers in her mind. You hold up four fingers. <<span class="mu-b">"Shit. Okay, yeah. Could you tell any difference between them?"</span>>
"Red. Blue. Grey. Silver." You whisper to her. Ashley tries her best to piece together what that could possibly.
<<span class="mu-b">"Red's probably bro, Grey's probably an android he works with, no idea for the others."</span>>
What do you do now?
>[ANOMALOUS ABILITIES] You know where they're at now. Open your door and throw your table in such a way to hit the two outside your front door. (FREE ACTION, -1 RESTRAINT. If you manage to roll three successes, you hit the one right in front of your door and if you roll five, you hit the grey one as well. This will help buy you time to sneak past the person outside or to make combat easier.)>[CAMO IMPLANT + ASHLEY ALLY] "Buy me some time." Turn invisible and sneak over to the Android. Attack him to throw everyone into panic and make a decision from there. (TALENT DC 24 (-8 from Ashley and Mindread Info), rolling 8d6 thanks to your implant. Pass and in addition to dealing with the grey dot, you'll distract the red one enough to make a move from there. Failure is unchanged.)>[KNOWS THEIR LOCATIONS] "Ashton, darling. I know where your pals are at. I wouldn't fuck with me if I was you." Tell him that you know EXACTLY where they're at and how you plan on dealing with them. (VIOLENCE DC: 15, rolling 5d6 with Ashley's help. While you doubt he'll just leave you alone on a success, his other helpers might decide it's best to let the boss handle it. Unknown what the failure state is.)>[ASHLEY ALLY] "Okay. Maybe we can still talk to him." (Unchanged from before.)>[SEEKER OF THE CITY] Try your best to silently open your window while Ashley buys you some time. Silent and deadly. (You'll likely have to make some more rolls to deal with the person outside.)>[UNSTABLE] VIOLENCE IS STILL THE ANSWER. (COMBAT ENCOUNTER but you'll gain a small edge due to knowing everyone's positions.)>Write in.
