You whisper in Liu's ear to relay your message. The hiccup girl doesn’t react in the best way.
“Eeek!” The sheepish Liu gets jumpy! You’re too close for comfort. “S-Sorry, *hic*! I wasn’t prepared…! *Hic*!”
“Hmm?” Primavera doesn’t understand the overreaction.
“M-My ears are sensitive.” Liu comes up with a decent excuse. It’s a little eyebrow raising that this girl is so adept at lying… “W-What were you saying, Mae?”
You whisper softly in her ear again. Your helper takes a page from Ajna’s book and reacts by having her shoulders fidget the whole time. Aside from the initial awkwardness, Primavera doesn’t pay any mind.
“M-Mae asks how you became a fan of Johnny.” Liu asks for you after regaining her composure.
“I don’t know. I saw him on the street and I thought he was good-looking. I heard him talk and thought he was charming. When I was in trouble, he helped me. When others were in trouble, I saw him help them.” Primavera is perplexed by this kind of question. “You need to see him to get it.”
“D’aww, that’s cute.” Liu clasps her hands in approval.
“What do you expect me to say? It’s not like every love story needs a backstory.” Primavera doesn’t like the notion of love not being something that just clicks and nothing more. “Now! Let’s see if you're a lover or a poser! What’s my Johnny’s catchphrase?”
“A… catchphrase?” Liu didn’t know this was a thing. She looks back at you with some confusion.
You ask Liu to come closer to answer the question.
“Mae says it’s ‘What’s good?’” Liu replies for you. You go up to her, quickly shake your head, and whisper again. “S-Sorry, it’s pronounced ‘What’s Good?™’, my mistake.”
“What? That’s not it. When has he ever said that?” Primavera is annoyed by this answer. “It’s —Do Your Best!—, you fake fan.”
…Who does she think she is to correct you about YOUR OWN CATCHPHRASE?!
>>How do you respond?
>“That’s his family’s catchphrase, poser.” Correct Primavera’s surface level knowledge about your lore.
>“It seems you don’t know much about Johnny…” Look down on Primavera for not being a true fan.
>“My bad! You seem to know a lot about Johnny! Are you two friends?” Take the loss and ask an innocuous question.
>“Sorry, you’re incorrect. It was nice meeting you.” Be polite then leave. She’s not at your level of fandom.
