>>5956468"Are you sure you want to be doing this? I mean you already wrote a note didn't you." Bulma asked, currently she was flying the aircraft towards your home in the northwest district of Mount Paozu.
"I'm sure. It's rather wrong for me to leave on an adventure like that. It could take the entirety of our summer break so it's only fair that I give gram-gram a proper send-off." You utter, sitting in the middle as Chi-Chi is on the aircraft's left side and Bulma is on the right.
"Aww, that's sweet. It's good manners to show your respect to your elders." Chi-Chi nods, giving her approval of your choice.
"I guess that's fair. But doesn't she have a cellphone or a computer to stream chat?" Bulma asked, to which you shrugged.
"She does but you know how old people are. Trying to use today's modern wonders isn't an easy art. Especially since my Gram-Gram has lived for far longer than most people." You answer, flicking your jet-black hair to the wayside.
"Right, I almost forgot about that." Bulma muses, hands still on the steering wheel. "The wonders of Ki never seem to stop astonishing me."
"While it's true Ki does help halt the natural aging progress, it doesn't exactly negate it outright. Something else is perpetually keeping her very long life as is." Chi-Chi counters, having her arms folded as she looks to the window.
"Well, Gram-Gram did say she does know a method that has been extending her life." You ponder, putting a finger against your chin as you reminisce such a tale back in your youth.
"Oh? Like what exactly?" Bulma asked, genuinely curious about the notion.
"I presume it has to be one of these ten means for immortality. The Peaches of Immortality, Pills of Longevity, The Fountain of Youth, Heavenly Wine or Ambrosia, The Ginseng Fruit on Longevity Mountain, The Elixir of Life on Penglai Mountain, The Divine Blessings of the Immortal Phoenix, eating the Lao Mango Soul, taking a concoction containing bright red resin known as the Dragon's blood of Dracaena, and The distilled extract of the Immortal Jellyfish." Chi-Chi interjects, to which you merely shook your head to her assessment.
"No, it wasn't any of those I think. Though she does know of them I believe thanks to her travels and from Roshi. Really she's been practicing Fangshi to grasp all five elements and cultivate Chinese alchemy such as Waidan, or external alchemy, to achieve her superhuman longevity. As well as the seventy-two Earthly Transformations. " You explain to Bulma and Chi-Chi. "I wasn't fully paying attention but it was where I learned how to bend the energies of the elements through the arts of Wuxing and Feng Shui."
"So, an esoteric arts version of the philosopher stone, eh." Bulma muses, almost getting excited by the notion. "Well, that's just another thing to look forward to once my research on Ki and the Dragon Balls bears fruit on these innermost secrets."
[Sorry for the long delay. Had to deal with getting a new phone along with some bullshit]
