In a far off, wild, and unruly land- there is a mountain known to be <span class="mu-i"><span class="mu-s">cursed</span></span>. Most reasonable folks steer far clear. Only a single small town exists nearby- and the locals themselves tell tales of the mountain. Once a prosperous mining town, the tunnels below were abandoned as things came up to meet the diggers. The danger soon outpaced the riches, and then things began to stalk the countryside. Since then, they have stayed within their walls and resigned themselves to irrelevance to the wider world and simple living off the land.

But for some; this place is an opportunity.

There are those who dare to delve such places. The desperate, brave, or foolhardy enough to go into dark and abandoned places to find treasure. Dungeons which house dangerous monsters, traps, and ancient curses- but too grand treasure and sometimes even magic.
