A fight is one thing though but bullying? Now that is something else entirely! Why else would a troll choose to live under a bridge if not to bully people?
<span class="mu-g">"Urgh, too bright... 'ey! Humie! Come here!"</span>
Groaning from the effort and wincing from the sunlight, you grip the side of the bridge to pull yourself up and emerge standing from beneath. Not the strongest troll around no, but still an imposing being of size and might. Still hoping to not bother too much, you try bellowing in command to the scrambling servant which usually works against humans. The villagers anyway. This one though shows some defiance, probably because he has something to protect.
<span class="mu-g">"Grrr... when Strogga say come here, humie come!"</span>
Shielding your eyes from the sun then you stomp after the interlopers, grumbling all the way. Unexpectedly the horse simply panics and flees, without its rider to guide it and too forcefully for the servant to keep control of. Leaving the more normally-dressed human alone for you to menacingly approach and tower over.
To his credit though the lad doesn't just flee screaming as most people would. Not that he puts up a strong showing either, trembling in your shadow but he does at least remain in defiance with weapon raised. A little impressed you must admit.
<span class="mu-g">"-yow! Stop it!"</span> you wince for a moment when the feeble human slashes into your hand, as you attempt to grab him. To be immediately followed with a strong wallop from your other hand, smacking the human straight into the ground in a dazed mess.
Exercising more care than a normal troll might then, you use a foot to roll him onto his back and step down onto his chest. Only enough to keep him pinned in place but clearly demonstrating that you could easily just crush him.
<span class="mu-g">"Why humies come here?!"</span>
<span class="mu-s">"L-Let me be monster!"</span>
Asking loudly and far more politely than he deserves, you don't get an answer at first. Maybe fear or simply that he's still recovering from your strike, but the lad strops struggling against your foot when you lean on him with more weight for a moment to make your intention clear.
<span class="mu-g">"Who sent shiny-man? Are more to come?"</span>
<span class="mu-s">"-agh! Th-The decree! There was... w-with the war on, the regent wants no stray monsters about! The baron here... the man in charge has a reward for you, that's how we heard!"</span>
A lot of big words and complicated ideas, surely your average troll would be dumbfounded. With some tough pondering though you think you understand what is going on... it seems the humans are angry right now, and if they are angry with fellow humans then of course they'd be angry with "monsters" like you.
