You are a bartender, currently in the works of starting up a new enterprise! You have managed to negotiate a deal with the town Elvesor, granting you the right to use a nearby island to get your business started!

Since the island currently has no infrastructure, (not even a bridge to cross the river,) there is a lot of work to be done before you can start generating profit. The town is to provide help where it can, so you in turn can start benefitting the town.

The town is currently in a bit of a bad spot, since frequent goblin raids have led to property damage and a declining populace. In addition, the current armed forces to protect the city, is mercenaries, which recently have been discontent with their current contract.
The city needs protection, but they cant afford to keep the mercenaries at a steeper price. As such, you are to help the town in any way you can.

You have made some surface level plans with the town council and your merchant follower. There is a whole lot of things to do, and since time is of the essence, you must help out where possible

Where do you help out? Choose two, from most preferred to second most preferred

>1: Make more detailed plans (The plans are currently very basic. With a few improvements and fine tuning, it could be possible to make things more efficient, maybe even find new sources of revenue.)
>2: Logging (Wood is necessary for almost everything you need to get started: Bridge, structures, furniture etc. Chance to gain logging experience )
>3: Travel to establish contacts and trade connections. (The neighbouring town of Elverum could provide help, both manpower and material. Chance to gain trading experience )
>4: Join the negotiations with the mercenary captain. (As an honorary council advisor, you are allowed to partake in council meetings. when held. The council is to discuss terms with the mercenaries, to try and make the captains demands less back breaking.)
>5: Write in (Please describe)

Where does the merchant help out? (choose one, this can be the same as your choice)

>1: Make more detailed plans
>2: Logging
>3: Travel to establish contacts and trade connections.
>4: Join the negotiations with the mercenary captain.
>5: Write in (Please describe)

(If there is a tie, I will roll dice to determine the winning choice.)
