things aren't right in colseeyes.

the planets a backwater, undiscovered after its crash of a single human spaceship, onto the surface of a deadworld that soon was colonized and tried to make terraformed amid its primordial soup pools. this never happened, in the end the evil sky and the harmful microbes and the genetic inequities of the experiment failed. the world become dead and heavily rotting amid foul gunk and organic soup remains

its sky is an evil thing to humans not from here. its light is dull red from its baby brown dwarf sun. that sun sits evilly behind a scattering nebula. its nearest planets are a pitch black hole towards the evil eye sun (some think its a black hole, mainly. it has to be), and the blood red world on its outer side, its surface writhing redly with a material that pools unnaturally like, cursed blood. no wonder the world hasn't discovered the colony, they'd die trying to find it.

your people nearly died landing here, after all, but humankind adapts. amid the rotting soup and primordial ooze a human society, that of ancient Terra's 1980s level technology, has managed to endure, with old copies of star trek from ancient classics as practically the best guides for space travel and survival you still have. while your culture would like to explore new galaxies, they can't leave, because this place is fucking hell.

the government has always been capitalistic, and the design of society sprang from its royal purple Asian ship design rootbase. if it wasn't taking place on a hellworld seemingly in the 80s, you'd swear life on this world often resembled 1980s Asia. an alien samurai landscape of growing neon settlements, raising purple colored royal dragon decorations as they conquer the slopfeilds of their world.

honestly, this was the unluckiest "Dragon tours luxury cruiseships" time your ancestors have ever gotten. that was so long ago now its (relatively) history.

who are you within this neon samurai landscape amid pools of slime and gunks?
