To your dismay, a disconcerting sight greeted you upon arrival—a thick column of smoke billowing into the sky from the village. Leaving your cart behind, you approached cautiously, senses heightened.

Hiding behind a bush, you surveyed the devastation: houses engulfed in flames, an eerie silence punctuated only by the crackling of the inferno.
