The Minus One Godzilla Deforeal is up for pre-order again if anyone is interested. I must have missed him the first time. His under jaw is a bit too long, but otherwise looks fantastic imo.

You know it's in the poll, right. The poll for 5 Movie Monster Series vinyls, right (the poll that might be rigged). Which come out after GxK. Maybe MMS will get relegated to Godzilla Store Exclusives as someone has already said, but for the time being it's not going anywhere.

There's the showa Ghidorah YMSF coming out too if you want one that scales good with 6'', the old Bandai collection is good too but it's a little hard to come by

As a noob at this, how fast do MMS figures get discontinued? Should I put the 1964 Godzilla in my Zenmarket package right now or can I wait a month?

Honestly not surprised about the new 5 inch line since you have MMS figures like Destoroyah, Mechagodzila (1993), Biollante, King Ghidorah that look to only be 5 inches tall from head to toe (or root.)

Post-2015 retail releases have not been discontinued yet. Godzilla Store stuff seems to receive occasional restocks, though I wouldn't count on it.

Varies. Most tend to be reissued unless they were say a theme park/event exclusive unless you are an odd one like Godzilla 1991 and the Spacegodzilla figure from 2019 (Both of those seem to be stupid expensive right now.) The others that get discontinued were the ones Bandai personally thought wouldn't sell well (Like the Male Muto). As >>10941643 stated, G-Store stuff tends to more often than not restock on their stuff in which think goes in phase re-releases (Varan and Gorosaurus were both gone for a while until just last month.)

Speaking of G-Store things, the only ones that have yet to be reissued is the opening day Shin Godzilla (the grey translucent one), Godzilla 1954 Retro Blue, Mecha Godzilla Metallic Green, Heavy Paint App Shin Godzilla, Metallic Pink Shin Godzilla, Heat Radiation Godzilla 2000,and the Hedorah Retro Color (The original black and purple one.). Keep in mind this is for both the Japan and the US release for the stores.

It got a Godzilla The Art exclusive redux in style of the Japanese Artist Coin Parking Delivery (Figure itself is pretty dope ngl.), but to my knowledge the original still hasn't been reissued since it's initial run in 2021.

Also fun fact, it's actually cheaper than the original right now in the aftermarket. Also the OG 8 inch figure with tag mind you is cheaper than its 6 inch counterpart without. Ebay and Mandrake always tend to make me laugh time to time.

Someone said it may get reissued in the summer along with a possible new mold of Space Godzilla. Funny since as the guy mentioned and checked for curiousity... Godzilla himself netting around 70 as the low point and 120 at high. Spacegodzilla meanwhile the most recent one tends to be 80 low and 130 high, but that's just for the newest release as the older ones are cheaper like say by 20ish dollars.

I would be down since the old mold been used since 1994 and hasn't aged well at all for the fact it has the gap between the torso and waist where the dorsal plates would be... same time though I'd equally be down if it were a repaint of the old figure... as Super Godzilla to go with the recent Bagan release since Mondo did that not too long ago.

Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, FYI Marvel Godzilla costs 10.000 yen+shipping, which isn't that cheap for YMSF standards (even if it's from Raymundo Toys). They also have Rodan 65 for 7000 yen, I'll get that one for my Destroy all monsters display. I'm just missing Gorosaurus, Mothra larva, Varan (I made a 3d sculpt of him), Manda and Kumonga

In the end I didn't even clean everything, just the shelf I have my figures on. I've been postponing cleaning once I knew I was moving, but getting the mortage takes time and even so I still have to paint the walls of the new flat and all, so I'll probably start living there in a couple of months. And everything was super filthy, I like to dust my figures using a soft bristle brush like those that are used for cleaning lenses. Maintaining a collection in the best shape possible is as important as having good variety and a good sense of placement (which in reality depends on the space you have to display stuff) in my opinion. I'm looking into custom displays, I've seen you can get really nice dustproof shelves using garaje shelves and acrylic, it's more customizable than a detolf or that new model they have at ikea and it's wider too.

I have them cause I enjoy the designs, most of them weren't even cut, I just heated the vinyl a bit where the peg goes and pulled them out, but I don't like how they look on the figures.

I own these toys as a way to feel what these monsters look in a tridimensional space, tags look dirty in a visual sense and take me out of that sensation

It is up to the person. Personally I keep mine on because I like how it makes them look 'new' like how some people leave stickers on tvs or hats. Plus they rarely get in the way of the figure.

I certainly understand the logic, but the tags seem so much more intrusive than say, the sticker on a hat. The sticker doesn't impede usage or get in the way, but tags definitely do. I'm in the "remove" camp just because I can't stand something flapping around and covering up the actual toy. The best I can do is usually wedging it between some back spines or something to get it out of the way, but at that point, it feels like I'm wrestling with a hindrance, and just want to get rid of it.
