>>10738993Meh. I see a lot of stuff like pic rel on catalogs and the quality sure seems really good but I always get the feeling that they've got terrible articulation or extremely basic engineering, especially the seamless stuff. Like Marvel Legends tier.
But aside of that they always look kind of bland and have just one faceplate. Even when they get their hands on licensed characters they're basically just making a generic doll in cosplay. It's probably less of an issue if characters have a mask or look sort of generic on their own like the guy in your pic.
Not sure about celebrity face sculpts, those look photorealistic but I actually find that stuff super tacky, I'd never buy a real person's figure.
I'm still waiting for something nice that will actually get me to buy. Say this figure here has fantastic soft goods but the sculpt and the face are such a nothingburger I just can't buy it. Also 1 generic dead eyed doll face. That kills so much of Chinese made stuff for me even if the quality is probably better than Japanese stuff for the price.
Companies like Snail Shell etc. seem to be the exception t b h
