>>10358570I get that none of this will be an overnight process, I'm the member of the /co/ group who is the most ambitious about the project and even I realize that this is going to be a very slow and long grind to make anything real, and it may just never come to fruition at all. We are pretty much all burnt out wageslaves trying to make something creative and similar to things we loved as kids. I feel like getting to learn the skills involved would be valuable regardless of if I wind up being the one doing it.
I am perfectly okay with buying commissions if I can get the money together for them, I am already planning on doing that for some more art. Getting the money for it would take some time and grind but I'm willing to reach out for it. I need to learn who I would/should reach out to.
>>10358575Because we have only been working on the story and concept art for a few months, I'm not really thinking about profits right now, just trying to get something to work off of and figure out how to move forward. A tentative goal is also maybe helping get people to know the property a little by having something to show them.
>>10358599>>10358608I'd like to find out who out there takes commissions like these, and I could figure out how much I need to save up after seeing who I would even be contacting.
>>10358631Figuring out what is realistic is also part of what I'm trying to learn. I would like it if the figures for the characters we made are bigger than 4 inches and have some articulated joints but beggars can't be choosers. Sadly I am very inexperienced and not knowledgeable on the subject, I had some bionicles, a couple of gunpla, and a couple megablocks dragons as a young kid and I haven't even had any toys for many years.
Pic related is one of the most completed drawings we have of the main character, this is a pretty good idea of what he is supposed to look like, we have a couple of other drawings that are a very good idea of what the main hero looks like
