>>9351585Forgive me if the meaning wasn't clear - the Nolan films have barely been touched in LEGO, you can count on one hand the number of sets we've gotten from them. You could make dozens of sets from the Nolan movies and still have material to spare. Contrasted against something like Harry Potter, where they're at the point where we have more variations of Gryffindor robes in LEGO than actually existed in the films. Batman's Rogues Gallery has most certainly been mined, and mined deep, but his film adaptations are woefully under-depicted disproportionate to their cultural impact. Most millennials and zoomers likely have never touched a Batman comic, but can recite Nolan dialogue by heart. Not saying that that's a good thing, but that's where things are currently. I feel strongly that if you're going to make large, permanent themes of licensed LEGO, you should wield that license effectively and broadly. That's why the 2020 Avengers sets were so disposable - semi-based on a videogame that was dead on arrival - and the Infinity Saga 2021 sets have been such hit. Surprise surprise, people actually enjoy the MCU depictions of characters and want to purchase Iron Monger or the Benatar more than a non-canonical Hulkbuster or Helicarrier rehash.
