That said, McFarlane Toy packaging is pre-90s. Most toys had pretty boring packaging back then and/or bad art. Only a few lines had great packages back then, like GI Joe and He-Man.
Also, 90s packaging is mostly shit that's extremely busy. Best time for packaging was 00s and 10s.
Probably the only thing going for pre-00s packaging is all the ad space to show off the other toys in the line. Sometimes you got to see an entire year's worth of toys in the back of the box/card to look forward to, if not half the year.
