>>8448623Thanks, but its all in my opinion the paint. The vallejo mecha is just perfect out of the bottle. Needs a little drop of water mixed in from time to time, but works great with these minifigures.
There are some other really talented people that blow me away with detailing though. Im getting better at it but it does take some effort.
Here is did the main paint job, top coat, then filled the little cracks in with a bright blue. Swipe and wipe as I call it. Swipe the detailing in, wipe it with a damp rag. Dont put alot of pressure. Its like doing panel lining for gundam models. If its really thin you can just dab the brush in one spot and let it flow into the grove. Just dont move it until it dries. Again, some people can do some way better things with theirs though. Just takes some experience and getting over the its too difficult mindset.
