Anyway as far as Scoop goes, I'm not seeing any imediete way to get his back wheels flush with the front set, if it's impossible would you accept a wide set of back wheels, considering it's already gonna be an unrealistic space keep anyway? Might solve some headache, and if you wanted to keep it all pegged together, plastic-welding some small tabs on the arms and having them peg into holes on the cab cover might strengthen the altmode.
